Tanishka initiated her international professional experience in the cruise industry, followed by business development projects and initiatives in Panama and Central America in the construction sector. In 2018 she served as the Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce Panama, furthering her knowledge and experience in management and business.
As part of her Facilities Management academic experience and professional contribution, she is among the first group of professionals in LatinAmerica holding a Professional Facility Manager (ProFM) credential by the Professional Facility Management Institute (ProFMI). She currently sits as an active member of ISO Technical Committee 267 Facility Management, contributing to the development of FM standards and promoting their adoption in Panama as a member of her National Mirror Committee.
She joined the Panamanian Association of Facility Management (APAFAM) in 2019 as Executive Director and since then has lead the professionalization and recognition of the discipline in Panama, working closely with professionals and companies in this growing industry. Among her diverse activities, she is the current editor and director of Revista Facility Management Panama, and a part of the Board of Directors of Global FM.
